Active membership
You can be a member of the Swiss Bar Association if you practise as a lawyer independently or as the employee of an independent lawyer and are an active member of a recognised cantonal bar association.
The annual membership fee is CHF 190.–.
Passive membership
A member of a recognised cantonal bar association who gives up the profession of lawyer and was an active member of the SBA can become a passive member. You can obtain the application form for this here.
The annual membership fee is CHF 95.–.
